Are Girlie Gowns hospital friendly?
Our gowns are designed to be physician friendly meaning that we took into account the access needed by doctors during labor and delivery. Our gowns allow complete access in the front as they open completely if needed. The back opens so that an epidural can be administered. The sleeves allow access of an IV. Hospitals require a sterile dressing for surgery procedures so if a c-section is required the gown might not be able to be used. Most of our c-section patients change into their gown after surgery to meet those first visitors.

Are gowns able to be used for other things?
Our gowns are perfect for people that require long hospital stays or outpatient procedures. A lot of patients that require treatments such as chemotherapy feel more comfortable in our gowns than standard hospital ones.

Have Celebrities worn Girlie Gowns?
Truth be told, we don't know. Our company caters to women who want an option other than a standard hospital gown. We do not believe in sending "free swag" to celebrities. We would rather offer free giveaways for blog and magazine readers. We don't place our products in Celebrity Gift Baskets. Do you realize that most companies pay to participate in these? We were offered to have our gowns placed in a basket for a celebrity mom recently and they wanted us to donate the gown as well as pay a $250 entry!

What sizing does Girlie Gowns go by?
The S/M size fits a typical pre-pregnancy size 2-12. Our L/Plus typically fits a pre-pregnancy size 14-3X. They run a touch big to allow for room for the baby bump. Please see our sizing information for measurements
